Seasonal Yoga Instructor

I have been practising yoga since my twenties, but like many of us it was a bit inconsistent due to life, work, children, favourite teachers moving on etc!

This course was so transformative for me personally, physically and mentally and I am keen to share this knowledge and the benefits it brings to others. 

It was only in the last few years as I wound down from my 35 year career in education that I was able to rediscover my love for this ancient practice and the benefits it brings, not just physically but also mentally. I took early retirement from my post of Deputy Head Teacher of a Secondary School in Paisley in August 2018 and started my journey to become a Yoga Teacher in January 2019 with the Seasonal Yoga Academy under the excellent tutors, Julie Hanson, Sue Woodd and Marit Akintewe.

My classes are gently demanding, you are encouraged to listen to and respect your own body, it’s strengths and limitations, it is time for you, space to get away from external and internal demands and hopefully you will feel the benefits spill over into your life well after class has finished.
